Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland Creating A Home For Hope

In its first 30 years, over 30,000 families have called the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland (RMH) their home away from home. The Home for Hope project is the capstone of RMH’s 30th Anniversary Celebration — three decades of caring and collaboration for kids and community.

The Home for Hope raffle offers the chance to win the Bradley II, built by R.J. Perritt Homes:

- Located at Copper Creek — a twenty-acre conservation development in Amherst Township, Lorain County.

- Green Built — state of the art NEOGBI certified features, including a Straw Bale Wall.

- Community Collaboration — R.J. Perritt Homes certified, built by construction students at Lorain County Joint Vocational School (LCJVS) under the supervision of master tradesmen.

The Home for Hope will be completed in April of 2009, with tours of the house beginning in the summer. On Friday, September 25, 2009, RMH will host a street party in Copper Creek where a raffle of 30 amazing, environmentally-friendly prizes will be held – the top prize being the Home for Hope. Only 15,000 tickets will be printed and will go on sale to the public in September 2008.

For more information on the Home for Hope project, please contact Mary Horoszko at (216) 229-5757, ext. 129 or mhoroszko@clevelandrmh.org.

Proceeds from the Home for Hope Raffle benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland to further expand it’s mission of supporting families whose children are receiving treatment at area medical centers by providing a home-like environment and essential resources and services.
