 Howard Hanna Opens Fifth Columbus Office in Eighteen Months

Columbus, OH (July 10, 2013) – On the heels of a very successful fundraiser for the Children’s Free Care Fund at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services held a grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony on July 10^th at their new office in Powell.

Howard Hanna Realcom Realty operates the company’s five ‘branchise’ offices in Columbus with locations in Dublin, Pickerington, Delaware, Upper Arlington, and now Powell. Rehabbed by the city, this prime office location at 44 North Liberty is temporary, according to Realcom principal, Marilu Sochur.

“Plans are being drawn for our brand new building which we anticipate will be under construction within the next 60 days.  It will not only house our state-of-the-art real estate office but a doctor’s office and other retail as well,” said Sochur. The permanent location on Sawmill Parkway is a significant investment in the community by Realcom. 

 “In the past 18 months, we have experienced a tremendous amount of growth with over 100 agents joining us from other companies or as they became newly licensed Realtors by the state of Ohio,” added Sochur.

Howard Hanna Realcom Realty doesn’t have any plans to slow down development and expansion. “Our plan includes opening an additional office before the end of the year to continue our expansion,” said Sochur. “We want to offer the Howard Hanna brand of real estate services in every community and be participating members of each local area that we serve.”

The Howard Hanna Realcom Powell office already has 15 agents and will be managed by Patti brown-Wright, also a Powell resident. Senior partners, Marilu Sochur and her husband Bob, are longtime residents of Powell and are happy to be opening their fifth office where they live.
