Good news for some buyers -
The 2018 maximum conforming loan limit will now be $453,100,
an increase from $424,100. This means better rates for your buyers who are in
that price range and they will no longer need to seek out a jumbo loan.
Just 2 years ago, the maximum conforming loan limit was
$417,000. So anything over that was considered jumbo loan territory. Then the
jump last year to $424,100, and now to $453,100.
